COLLUSION: Biden regime ordered Facebook to tweak algorithms to suppress Republicans

As part of the ongoing proceedings of the House Judiciary Committee's investigation into Biden regime corruption, it was revealed this week that the cabinet of fake president Joe Biden pressured social media giant Facebook into altering its algorithms to punish conservative sites from having their content visible on the platform.

Numerous meetings between Facebook executives and White House Digital Director Rob Flaherty in the spring of 2021 involved Biden's folks demanding that Mark Zuckerberg and his employees crack down on all Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) posts and information that the regime deemed as "misinformation."

In one particular meeting that took place on April 14, 2021, Flaherty asked Facebook if it was possible to artificially promote "news" stories from The New York Times, The Washington Post, and other left-leaning media outlets in order to overtake more popular stories from Fox News and the Daily Wire.

For whatever reason, the Biden regime really wanted to stop the work of conservative commentator Tomi Lahren from spreading and going viral on Facebook. It petitioned Facebook to basically block Lahren's posts and content from being shared.

"If you were to change the algorithm so that people were more likely to see NYT, WSJ, any authoritative news source over Daily Wire, Tomi Lahren, polarizing people," Flaherty asked Facebook executives, according to typed notes. "You wouldn't have a mechanism to check the material impact?"

"We have to explain to President, Ron [Klain], people, why there is misinfo on the internet, bigger problem than FB. Where issues are, what interventions are, how well they are working, for products, want to engage in things that you know to be effective. I don't even care about specific methodology, you have better, richer data than we’ll ever have."

Biden's people bullied Facebook employees into censoring user content

At the time, Lahren, who had a very large following on Facebook, had announced that she would not be getting "vaccinated" with the gene therapy offerings of Operation Warp Speed, the fast-tracked jab program unveiled and pushed by former President Donald Trump.

The Daily Wire at the time had also filed a lawsuit against the Biden regime over its covid jab mandates for private workplaces, which were forcing their employees to take the shots because of Biden's demands.

As we know, the Supreme Court eventually struck down Biden's workplace mandate while still upholding the mandate for all facilities that are funded by either Medicare or Medicaid.

"What are the things driving hesitancy on your platform? What is it? How big is the problem? When you are intervening, how are you measuring success?" Flaherty said, continuing to grill Facebook's employees about the matter.

Commenting on the situation, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who chairs the Judiciary Committee, said that Facebook, now owned by Meta, did comply with the Biden regime's demands, at least to some degree.

"Never-before-released internal documents subpoenaed by the Judiciary Committee PROVE that Facebook and Instagram censored posts and changed their content moderation policies because of unconstitutional pressure from the Biden White House," Jordan tweeted.

Constitutional scholar and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley has since petitioned Congress to pass a law barring federal employees from engaging in censorship and the targeting of citizens.

"Agencies have a right to speak in their own voices," Turley said. “Instead, the Biden Administration sought to engage in what I have called 'censorship through surrogate.' This is part of that pattern."

Free speech and freedom of the press are two principles this country was founded upon. Unfortunately, our government no longer believes we have these God-given rights and are using Big Tech to strip them from us. That's why it's so important that we create alternatives to these Big Tech platforms that will refuse to cave to political pressure. pickax is one of those platforms that is not just a knock-off designed for the Twitter rejects, but a slick and innovative platform that is getting in the mix to compete... all while protecting free speech.
