CA Legislators to Vote on Banning Private Health Insurance and Replacing With Socialized Medicine
The Communist State of California is back at it again, with yet another tyrannical power grab. This time it's the hijacking and takeover of the entire healthcare system for the entire state.
AB1400 will introduce what is referred to as CalCare, which would be a state-funded single payer healthcare system. This will ban residents of California from having private insurance policies and would, instead, replace them with socialized medicine. We all know how that's going to turn out.
Dictator Gavin Newsom and the power-hungry Demoncrats have shown that they have no regard for your Constitutional rights or freedoms. This is yet another example of that. Instead of being a state that gives you the freedom to make your own medical decisions, they are going to force you to get the healthcare THEY want you to have. That's not dangerous at all.
One concern is that California residents will now be beholden to the state for coverage of medical procedures. If our woke government doesn't want you to get a procedure, they have the authority not to pay for it. It's one thing for a business to make decisions on coverage based upon profit/loss. It's an entirely different concern when it's our leftist political leaders..
We all know how government programs work... they suck. I don't think anyone believes that the DMV is effective or efficient. Yet, it's the same government that wants to do the same thing with our healthcare system.
Additionally, it's the people of California that are going to take the hit financially:
- This program will cost between $314 and $391 billion every year.
- Income taxes on Californians making over $149,509 a year... to put that in perspective, poverty in San Francisco is $100k.
- Payroll taxes will increase for workers
- Small businesses will have to pay a new excise tax of 2.3% of annual gross receipts
Having socialized medicine in California is a disaster. The government wants to force you to get the medical care THEY want you to have. That means vaccines and no ivermectin. That means pharmaceutical drugs, not natural solutions. The same Democrats that are being bought off by Big Pharma are now going to do their bidding and make them even more money.

Couldn’t be happier for them. I hope they enjoy their socialized medicine. Quite honestly I have little compassion for the people who choose to remain there. maybe 1 to 2% are stuck there but ultimately most people make the choice to remain under the delusion things will turnaround.
