Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley emerges as the runner-up in the same poll, securing a respectable 15% of support. Meanwhile, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida lags behind, capturing just 11% of the support.
Zooming out to a national scale, President Trump’s lead is even more resounding, as indicated by a recent survey conducted by Premise Data from September 28 to October 2. The survey found Trump ahead by a staggering 45 points among prospective GOP primary voters. What’s truly noteworthy is that Trump also outperforms President Biden in a poll gauging the 2024 general election, leading by an impressive ten-point margin.
