The GOP: A Party With No Leader

The Republican Party finds itself an a crisis of identity. What direction will we go in come 2024? The lines have been drawn in the sand, with the civil war between the Establishment Class, the strict Constitutional Conservatives and the America First populists all competing for control of the GOP.

Part of the problem is that the Republican Party simply does not have a leader.

Clearly, Ronna McDaniel is not the actual leader of the party. She’s just the Chairwoman who is a swamp creatures that needs to be drained.

Donald Trump is not the leader of the Republican Party, despite being the most influential figure. His base is strong and die-hard, but he’s simply not been able to sway the decisions of the party leadership itself.

So who does that leave us with? Absolutely nobody. Well, maybe, except for the donors who pay off the politicians to do their bidding.

What we need heading into 2024 is a leader (hopefully Donald Trump) who will get back to inspiring people to follow him into the battle to save the country. Obviously, he’s taking arrows from all directions, which means he’s fighting for his life. I give him some grace in the fact that he’s not the leader he was in 2016 and 2020, given that he’s taking it from every which way.

But, at the same time, we’ve got to have a leader whose sole focus is on saving the country, not just saving himself. And I don’t mean that in a negative fashion towards Trump. It’s not fair what’s happening to him and this is all a part of the Leftist strategy to keep him out of office. At the same time, we need a leader who will be the tip of that spear… and unfortunately, the only one who is event trying to fill that role is former Democrat turned Independent Robert F Kennedy Jr.

Only time will tell if Trump can get back to his old self. I pray that he does.
